New favorite restaurant. Food was amazing, no complaints. Staff were very friendly and on top of service. Worth the drive no matter where you are coming from. Food prices are good as well, all what we ordered I was surprised of how cheap it was. Thanks Jones County Local, you’ll see us again.
Ordered takeout from here and the prices are good and the restaurant looks nice and updated inside. Only reason it’s 4 stars is I thought our kids chocolate milk was included with his meal but it was an extra 3$. I would recommend eating in restaurant because by the time we got home the fries were already soggy. Service was great! The tenderloin was fantastic!

Why will these businesses not pay to hire the proper amount of personnel? It's become a standard among the food industry, to try to serve more, with less staffing.

Always great food here and service! The food is always creatively handmade too! The menu recently changed and is still awesome! Great beer list too and the staff is always friendly! They have options for everyone! Mostly it caters to those who love local, creative twists on common American dishes and also dishes you may have never had! This is a good go-to in the Jones county or Anamosa area!
We had the pretzel with beer cheese as an appetizer and it was SO delicious!! A must try! Burgers are also good..The atmosphere is really nice as well!
I stopped in for a carry out, ordered from the bar no drinks on Thursday September 21, 2023. I live in Martelle and having delivery would be a perfect world. I ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich, best I’ve ever had and I have been around the world working in the airline industry. Home fries were great that will always be my side choice! Pretty nice restaurant. I would give this restaurant 5 stars if it wasn't for a few details. But the food is very good with flavor of the Rueben I've never tasted before. The restaurant was clean enough and the decor was nice for a cosy feeling. Service from my waitress (Mackenna) was friendly and inviting. The restaurant even had brand new menus. All this and more make this a great restaurant. Here is why this restaurant isn't getting my fifth star: Did I feel that it was a 'family restaurant'? No. Not with the bar sticking out with all the liquor in plain sight.
